WSI Learning Pathways

At WSI we think it is really important that you are able to maximise your skills by acquiring new ones and by being able to build on any skills you already have. Check out our different pathways here.

Learning Pathways

If you are at school you can study a TAFE NSW - Western Sydney Institute course as part of your HSC and learn job skills at the same time through a:

  • TVET or Industry Framework course
  • School based Traineeship or Apprenticeship

If you have left school you can:

  • Follow a training pathway through TAFE NSW or other vocational providers
  • Start in a job and study later either full or part-time
  • Go straight to university
  • Complete a TAFE NSW course and earn credit for a year or more at University

If you have been working for a number of years you can:

  • Gain recognition for your work skills with credit towards your TAFE NSW course
  • Refresh or update your skills though a short course
  • Change career through further study.
